Tripleclamp Moto has designed HDPE clutch and stator covers to protect your bike from the elements of adventure (and crashing). As a cost-effective solution to avoiding mishaps on the trail or road, or to refresh scraped and worn engine side covers, these bolt right over your OEM engine side cases. There's nothing other than the OEM bolts to remove and no oil spills.
We also make a cover for the T7's exposed water pump.
HDPE (high density polyethylene) is the ideal material for these bolt-ons as it provides impact AND abrasion resistance. It protects against sharp and blunt impacts, while dispersing impact energy to help avoid damaging cast aluminum clutch and stator covers and the fragile water pump.
Don't confuse these with more expensive but inferior ABS plastic covers. Ours are thick and include stainless steel bolt inserts and the correct length bolts to ensure a good fit and tight seal, with no loose covers or oil drips down the line. Our competitors don't use these stainless steel inserts, instead requiring you to torque bolts right into plastic. This is a recipe for disaster, as it's impossible to achieve the correct bolt torque.
- Does not affect the fit of the original plastic clutch cable guard on the Tenere 700 (ours slips in behind)
- 10 minutes installation time for both sides
We spent many months of design and real-world testing on these, and are very pleased with the outcome. We've sold hundreds of these covers for other bikes over the years, used by everyone from casual riders to professional rally and enduro racing teams!

Please note that these engine covers are made of impact and abrasion resistant materials and may appear to have an inconsistent finish and overall look. The priority and focus of these covers is to provide the utmost protective function and so the insides may appear rough, the outsides may have fine marks or similar and the bolt spacers may appear roughed in. This is the nature of the material and the manufacturing process and in no way do any of these subjective blemishes affect the covers’ ability to protect your engine cases from abrasion and minor impacts.
